Anniversary cardGood Evening All

I needed to come up with a very quick card for my brother’s wedding anniversary tomorrow!  So here’s a very contemporary card based on the current Mojo Monday sketch.

I’ve used a 5×7 base card and layered it up with some black and then orange card.  The polka dot paper comes from Stampin Up and the ribbon is some from my stash.  I’ve then used some Tim Holtz adage tickets, which I’ve just tucked under the ribbon.  I think I’ve picked appropriate wording, but the peel off sentiment does clarify the reason for the card – just in case 🙂

Short and sweet I’m afraid, need to get it in the post!

Back again soon

Well this is appropriate, seeing as its absolutely chucking it down outside!  Not that I took my inspiration from that, it comes from this month’s Crafty Calendar Challenge and the current Mojo Monday challenge.

I’ve used a white A5 card and some more beautiful papers, this time from the Petal Fresh paper pad by Lily of the Valley and NitWit collections.  The image is one from The Greeting Farm and I’ve coloured her in using my Promarkers.  The sentiment is from the same set I used the other week, from Hobby Art and I thought it went quite well on this.

Luckily I had a bit of blue ribbon in my stash which tied in nicely with the papers and then to finish it off, I’ve added just a little bling!

Anyway, hope you like it, and I shall be back again soon 🙂

krafty teatimeGood Morning All

The gorgeous image on this card is from Lily of the Valley as are the papers that I have used, which are called Country Lady.  I seem to vear towards browns and neutral colours for some reason and these papers are lovely – very strokable!

I’ve used the current Mojo Monday layout on a 5×7 kraft card as my base and the current ABC Challenge for the kraft inspiration.  The peeking out oval has been die cut with the smallest oval in the Grand Decorative Ovals set, and then I’ve used circles and scalloped circles for the layers of the image.

I’ve kept it very simple for the moment and just added some faux stitching and a few gems as per the challenge, but I might add some flowers to it later?  Can’t make my mind up at the mo 😕

Anyhow, I have to go to work soon, so can’t stay any longer.

But I’ll be back again soon
