to dreamGood Morning All,

Well I did manage to do some crafting over the Easter weekend eventually – although it wasn’t the best weekend – the puppy was poorly and the boiler decided to stop working, so not the most relaxing time 😦

Anyhow, this is what I did, it’s an A5 card which has been layered up with some chocolate brown card and design papers from the Wellington pack from DoCrafts.  The image is another one from Lily of the Valley.  I’ve then added some Adage Tickets by Tim Holtz, which I’ve inked over with vintage photo distress ink, the ribbon is from my stash and the little button has been done with a Sizzix cut and emboss folder, which I think I got from Stampin Up?

As usual, I’ve taken the current Mojo Monday challenge layout and followed that.

I also forgot to show you all, what I did for my staff this year for their Easter pressie.

I made carrots 🙂carrots1

The orange part has been done using the Petal Cone die from Stampin Up, which the lovely Sonia lent me for the purpose, and then the green tops have been cut on her Silhouette machine.  I put little white chocolate rabbits inside and a card candy in the centre of the green bit to finish it off (which you can’t see in this photo).  Seemed to go down well with the staff – I didn’t have any left when we finished up for the weekend 😀

Well, I’d best go, got a man coming round to talk about a new boiler in a little while, but I’ll be back again soon

baby bluesGood Evening All

A celebratory card this week, for my friend Kay, who became a Grandma for the first time 🙂

I’ve used the current Mojo Monday challenge layout, some baby blue card from my stash, design papers from Lily of the Valley and a Forever Friends topper.  The sentiment was done on the computer, to make sure it fitted in the space!  I’ve used my Spellbinder dies and the edging has been done with a Martha Stewart punch.

Cute card for a cute baby 🙂

Got a few days off now for the Easter break, so hoping to spend some time crafting, if I can, so will be back again soon

thanksGood Evening All,

Oooooh it’s been a long day 😦

But I thought I’d best get this posted tho, before I run out of time.

The current Mojo Monday challenge made me look to my stash of flowers this week, and the burnt orange colour of these ones, is just gorgeous (unfortunately I don’t think it shows up that well in the photo).

So, I managed to find some co-ordinating card and teamed it with some old Kanban design papers.  The bow has been cut using the Die-namics Beautiful Bows die and the sentiment has been cut using a Spellbinders die.  The “Thanks” stamp is from a Stampin Up set and I have absolutely no idea where the flowers came from, but they’re lovely 🙂

Anyway, I am absolutely shattered so I think I’m going to give in and go to bed!

Back again soon

birthday bowls 02/04/2014

birthday bowlsGood Morning All

Figured I’d get this posted whilst the puppy is sleeping, having had her walk 🙂

As usual, I have used the current Mojo Monday challenge for my layout. This week, it’s tall and skinny, so I’ve used a DL card for my base, which has been layered up with some chocolate brown card and design papers from Lily of the Valley from the Country Gent collection – luv these.

The image is one from the John Byars Nostalgia collection from Papermania, which has been stamped with Momento Rich Cocoa.  I’ve then just added some buttons, a tag with a peel off sentiment and some bakers twine.

Was quite lucky really, as every bit of paper and card was from the bits and pieces left over from previous cards, didn’t have to cut into a new sheet of anything – so a great way to use up those odds and ends that you’re never quite sure whether to keep or throw away!

Well, I’d best make the most of the peace and quiet and get some bits done, so will leave it there for now but will be back again soon
