Yee-haaHowdy Y’All

Once again, I have been somewhat remiss with my blogging, but that doesn’t mean that I have been idle.  Apart from the obvious – work, I have been quite busy in my garden – making the most of this lovely weather we’ve been having 🙂

Having said that, I still managed to sneak in a few cards tho 🙂

This one is an A5 card and the layout is the current Mojo Monday challenge.  The background papers are from the Stampin Up Retro Fresh pack.  The image is a “Young Rebel” by Nellie Snellen, which I’ve coloured in with Promarkers.  The sentiment is a peel off and the Sheriff’s badge has been cut out on my Cricut using the Toy Story cartridge.

Just so you know I’m not lying, the other card I did was based on the Mojo Monday challenge from a few weeks ago.get over it

This is an A4 card, the image has been downloaded from the internet and the background paper and the stripes have been cut out from some old Kanban card I had in my stash.

The word sentiment has been computer generated and the age is a peel off.

Anyhow, gotta go, but will hopefully be back again soon 🙂

an apple a day… 08/06/2014

Good Morning AllApple a day

Well, yet another two weeks have flown by without me realising and I don’t feel like I’ve achieved much!  But I did manage to put this card together yesterday evening 🙂

Our Head Chef is rather poorly at the moment, so I needed to make a card for all the staff to sign.  I had the apple already cut out from something else I was doing previously and I thought this would actually be quite relevant for a get well card for a chef!

The layout, is this weeks Mojo Monday challenge and suited the idea perfectly 🙂

So, it’s an 8×8 card which has been layered up with red card stock and some papers from my stash.  The sentiment has been computer generated, the apple has been cut using the pre-loaded images on the Brother ScanNcut and I’ve used a white chalk marker to give the apple it’s shine spot.

As it’s for a bloke, I have kept it very simple and not embellished it too much, but I felt it needed something, hence the buttons.

Well must go, it’s our crop day today, so fingers crossed I might even get a card made!

Back again soon
