Classy KitschGood Afternoon All

I’m quite impressed with myself – incredibly I have managed to make this card and blog about it within 24 hours šŸ™‚Ā  that’s not something that happens often!

I have taken inspiration from two challenges this week – Mojo Monday and ABC – and the fact that I need a girlie birthday card for one of my colleagues.

I have used an A5 card blank, layered up with some pale blue card from my stash and design papers from Craftwork Cards Kitsch collection.Ā  The dress and flower were also in the paper pad but I’ve added some die cut leaves and a rhinestone decal.

The sentiment is a stamp from an old Kanban set which I stamped with versamark and heat embossed using a blue coloured embossing powder from WOW, which matched up lovely.

It all came together just right yesterday eveningĀ šŸ™‚

You never know I might even manage to get another one made this evening – although that might be expecting too much – we’ll see!

Best go, I’ve got hungry animalsĀ staring at me.

Hopefully back again soon

ChandelierWell Good Evening All

It seems agesĀ since I’ve blogged, or managed to make a card, for that matter!Ā  Its all about the puppy at the moment – who is definitely keeping us on our toes šŸ™‚

Anyhow, I have taken the week off work, so am hoping to get some cards made – I have a list of orders that need doing at some point!Ā  This is at least one thatĀ I can cross off the list.

I have used the current Mojo Monday layout, along withĀ papersĀ and ribbon fromĀ Craftwork Cards,Ā a vinyl sticker from Papermania and a sentiment from Lily of the Valley which has been stamped and embossed.

Just another 11 cards to go!!!!!!Ā  Going be a busy week šŸ˜¦

(it was supposed to be a rest from work)

Anyway I shall try to be back again soon

new homeGood Evening All

This is a bit of a rush job, as it’s been a mad week with one thing and another.Ā  I thought I was organised with my card requirements, but obviously not šŸ˜¦

Have spent the majority of the weekend at The Great British Craft Festival with my friends, spending far too much money on vital craft supplies!

But tonight I needed to get this new home card done for a friend of mine whose had to move because her job has been relocated.

So, I’ve used the current Mojo Monday challenge layout, a 5×7 card and some Craftwork Cards papers.Ā  The image is a vinyl sticker from Papermania and basically that’s it!

Got a couple of crap weeks ahead of me as well, so not sure how soon I’ll be back, but I will be šŸ™‚

back to normal… 08/01/2013

Lime Green and White CardGood Morning All

Well it doesn’t take long for things to getĀ back to normal does it?Ā  Back to getting up early.Ā  Back at work now, albeit on reduced hours for a little while until I feel fully fit!Ā  Back to the daily chores šŸ˜¦

But also back to crafting on a regular basis šŸ™‚Ā  And this is the card I producedĀ last night.

I’ve used the current Mojo Monday challenge layout and made a 5×7 lime green card onto which I have matted and layered some gold mirri card and then some pearlescant white paper, which has been embossed using three different embossing folders.Ā  The dotty one at the back is a Darice folder and the other two are an M-Bossibility folder.Ā  The ribbon is from Stampin Up and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.Ā  A very quick and easy card to get me back into the swing of things!

A short blog, but I do have to go to work now, but I’ll be back again soon

disconnected… 04/03/2012

At last – Good Morning All,

I have been disconnected from the www for a week, so no e-mails, no internet access, no challenge blogs, or crafty blogsĀ – OMG! I have been quite lost without it!Ā  Anyway, back up and running now, so thought I ought to try and get back on track again with my blogging šŸ™‚

You’d have thought that I would have made loads of cards whilst not being able to surf the net, but actually I’m a bit behind.Ā  However, I have nearly managed to finish this one.

UsingĀ 2 5×7 card blanks, andĀ attaching them together, I’veĀ created a substantial tri-fold card.Ā I matted and layered some Craftwork Cards papers onto some pink card and then onto the black base layers, which have been cut with my new nesties – romantic rectangles (they’re lovely). TheĀ silhouettes are die cuts which I got from Die Cut Genie and then I’ve just added some odd tabsĀ topped with some card candy.Ā  The sentiments are also from Craftwork Cards and I’ve just matted and layered theseĀ onto some circles of pink and black.Ā I still need to add a sentiment on the back and I might add a little bit of bling?Ā  We’ll see!

A bit short and sweet, but soooo much to catch up on, so will be back again soon
