Good Afternoon All

I said I’d try to get back on track, so here we are.

I’ve used the Mojo Monday sketch for this week as the base for my card layout and the “Born to Shop” range of papers and images.  They are a bit of fun and you can usually associate them with someone you know!  This one is for my sister-in-law.

I’ve used a variety of my nestabilities to cut out the different circles in the layout.  Getting quite a collection now, just purchased the new D-Lites from Create & Craft, so need to have a play with them next 🙂

Added a few extra’s to the design – the ribbon, hatpins, adhesive gems and the metal corner – just to girly it up even more!

Anyway, short and sweet, but need to crack on.

Back again soon

Good Evening All

Very unusual for me to blog again so soon, but as I said, I had to make some cards last night, so I thought I would enter some challenges with this one.

I’ve used an A5 card base and matted and layered with some purple card and some gorgeous papers from Basic Grey – Euphoria paper pad.  The stamped image is from the Born to Shop range and was a freebie with one of my magazines.  I’ve coloured her in with Promarkers to tie in with the colours of the papers.

The sentiment is a stamp, which also came free 🙂  The flower is made from felt, I’ve put two together and then added a button and topped it off with a pearl.  Thankfully I had a little bit of purple ribbon in my stash which tied in nicely with the purple card.

I’m going to enter this into the following challenges:-

Basic Grey Challenge – Spring Colours

Cupcake Craft Challenges – Material Girl

The Pixie Cottage – Green and Gorgeous

Totally Papercrafts – All buttoned up

Fingers crossed for me

Back again soon
