white weddingGood Morning All

Another brief post I’m afraid, but thought I would share this card quickly, before it wings its way to Australia, where a friend of mine gets married next week.

I’ve used the current Mojo Monday challenge layout as my starting point and then decided to stick with just white card, highlighted with the silver mirri board.

As you can see the white card has been embossed using three of the folders in my stash.  The cascading hearts is a Sue Wilson folder and the other two are Darice folders.

The image is a pre-coloured topper from Lily of the Valley, so I can’t take any credit for that.  The sentiment has been die cut using one of the Britannia dies and then the bells are actually a cake decoration, but I cut the back bit off so that it lays flat.

Simple but effective 🙂

Anyway, gotta go, its my turn to buy the cakes today on my way to work!

Back again soon

Lime Green and White CardGood Morning All

Well it doesn’t take long for things to get back to normal does it?  Back to getting up early.  Back at work now, albeit on reduced hours for a little while until I feel fully fit!  Back to the daily chores 😦

But also back to crafting on a regular basis 🙂  And this is the card I produced last night.

I’ve used the current Mojo Monday challenge layout and made a 5×7 lime green card onto which I have matted and layered some gold mirri card and then some pearlescant white paper, which has been embossed using three different embossing folders.  The dotty one at the back is a Darice folder and the other two are an M-Bossibility folder.  The ribbon is from Stampin Up and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.  A very quick and easy card to get me back into the swing of things!

A short blog, but I do have to go to work now, but I’ll be back again soon
