Anniversary Heart closed   side on open

Good Morning All

Yesterday was my parent’s wedding anniversary and this is the card I made for them 🙂

It’s an easel card, as you can see, and is A5 in size.  The design paper is one from the Portobello Road collection, the heart dies are the ones from the Tonic Affections Die Set (which my Mum bought me for Christmas), the word dies are Britannia ones and the bow has been cut using the Die-Namics beautiful bows die.  The little cream roses are from Hobby House and there are also a few sticky gems, but they don’t show up very well in the photo’s!

Anyway, can’t stop, but will be back again soon

special little personGood Morning All

I have finally managed to clear the pile of half started cards that I had in my spare bedroom 🙂

This is one of them.

I’d already stamped the image sometime ago, but then hadn’t done anything with it.  Its a S.W.A.L.K. stamp from Crafters Companion and I’ve coloured it in with my promarkers.  I’d actually stamped it twice, so I did one in pink and one in blue, but seeing as we had a little boy card a couple of weeks back, decided I’d show the little girl card today.

The image fits nicely inside the smallest of the Grand Decorative Circle dies from spellbinders, and I’ve then cut out each die in alternate pink and white card, using the largest circle, folded in half to make the card.  Because the dies are so decorative the only thing I’ve then added is a little white bow.

I’m going to enter this into the Crafty Calendar Challenge for January, which is “let’s celebrate”.

Well, I’m hoping today that I will get a few more cards made, so will be back again soon with something else.

P1020304Good Morning All

Well today is crop day, so whilst I’m just waiting for my crafty friends to arrive, thought I better upload my card for the current Mojo Monday layout challenge before it’s too late 🙂

I have, once again, used an image from Lily of the Valley.  This time it’s from the Jack, Patch & Puss Art Pad, and I’ve married it up with co-ordinating papers from the Country Gent collection.

The sentiment is made up from peel offs and the hearts have been cut out with various dies.

The card itself is A5 in size.

Well, they’ve started to arrive so will need to leave it there for the mo, but I’ll be back again soon 🙂

little boy blue 01/01/2014

little boy blueWell Happy New Year everyone, hope that it’s a good one x

So my first card of the year follows the current Mojo Monday layout and uses Lily of the Valley papers and sketch pads.  The image is from the “toddlers” set and the papers are from the “Bear Necessities” pad.  So very sweet 🙂

The wording has been done using some rub-ons from my stash.

I think it’s going to be a rather quiet day today, so hoping to do some more crafting later and will therefore be back again soon 🙂
